My teaching interests include psychological statistics, research methods, and evidence-based instruction in psychology. I aim to make quantitative reasoning accessible and relevant to students’ academic, professional, and everyday decisions.
Teaching Philosophy
I approach teaching as an opportunity to help students develop confidence in asking research questions, evaluating evidence, and interpreting data. In statistics instruction, I emphasize understanding the reasoning behind statistical procedures, choosing methods that fit research questions, and communicating results clearly rather than relying on calculations alone.
My instructional interests include active learning, practical demonstrations, and opportunities for students to apply concepts to realistic datasets. I value a learning environment in which students can ask questions, practice skills, and connect statistical thinking to psychological research and real-world situations.
